About the role
- Team Lead overseeing Product Data Architecture for a specialized team in Product Data Development. Collaborating with Software Development and Product Management to establish data standards.
Responsibilities
- Functional and disciplinary leadership, including coaching, of an 8-member expert team in Product Data Architecture.
- End-to-end responsibility for architecture principles, technical standards and their continuous review (Data Governance).
- Definition of logical dependencies, validation rules and plausibility checks to ensure the highest level of data consistency.
- Conceptual design of data entry screens and menus with a focus on usability, performance and clarity.
- Establishment of systematic verification processes (manual and automated) and the creation of reference, test and sample databases as quality benchmarks.
- Close collaboration with software development to optimize interfaces and presentation of architecture concepts to Product Management.
- Documentation and clear communication of standards, and fostering onboarding and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in developing, structuring and maintaining catalog-based product data.
- Solid knowledge of data models, validation logic, system dependencies and software architecture principles.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance, test strategies and validation concepts.
- Confident use of IT tools; basic knowledge of Delphi is a plus but not required.
- Empathy, strong organizational skills and the ability to proactively develop a specialized team.
- A structured, technical mindset combined with high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation skills (German and English) for both technical and non-technical audiences.
