About the role
- Business Consultant in Financial Services at FORKIUM Deutschland GmbH supporting customer projects and specializing in compliance and regulatory reporting. Engaging with clients in various financial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support client projects – assist with business analysis, drafting specifications, technical implementation and testing through to successful go-live
- Specialize in one of our Competence Teams (currently: Compliance Services, Regulatory Reporting, ESG, Operational Excellence) and become a subject-matter expert in that area
- Support project management for clients such as private and investment banks, custodian banks, asset managers and other financial service providers
- Advise on business operations and process optimization, software integration, migrations and regulatory changes (depending on focus and expertise)
- Collaborate with business units and IT to apply your expertise purposefully and help deliver complex projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Business Informatics, Financial Mathematics or a related field; commercial vocational training (e.g., bank, insurance, investment) may be considered for candidates with potential
- Knowledge of financial instruments and products (e.g., mutual funds, bonds, derivatives) and the associated business processes
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); SQL knowledge is a plus; familiarity with Confluence, Jira and MS Project is recommended
- Customer- and solution-oriented, proactive thinker, team player and well organized
- Good command of English and German — additional European language is an advantage
