About the role

Responsibilities
- Design data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support supply chain analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by participating in daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing automated data quality checks and validation processes
- Optimize data storage solutions and troubleshoot pipeline performance using GCP monitoring tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and supply chain management
- Develop and document data processes, architecture, and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- 5 years of experience with Programming in Python or Java for data engineering tasks
- Experience in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Optimizing performance and deploying applications
- Executing unit tests using Mockito and JUnit
- Experience in CI/CD methodology
- 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
- 2 years of experience with developing scalable Java applications using Apache Beam, Java APIs, and Exception Handling
- Automating workflows with GCP Cloud Functions and Cloud Scheduler
- Implementing data processing pipelines with Pandas and NumPy
- Utilizing Git for version control to manage code repositories.
