Responsibilities
Leverage modern frameworks, open source tools, and cloud technologies to develop software effectively through paired programming and other methodologies like test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment.
Develop working, tested code across the full stack of technologies.
Develop components across all tiers of the application stack, integrate and deploy developed software, and modify CI/CD pipeline and scripts as vital to improve continuous integration practices.
Identify minimal viable product and decompose features by story slicing. Identify inter-team dependencies, and ensure that team dependencies are met in timely fashion.
Ensure functional and nonfunctional quality and on-time delivery using agile and lean principles, embrace extreme programming practices including paired development, test driven development, and continuous delivery to release early and often, and collaborate and work closely together with a balanced team of developers.
Use Agile programming practices such as pair programming, Test Driven Development (TDD), cloud native technology such as GCP, Angular, J2EE, Spring boot, JSF, Primefaces and Linux.
Work on databases like SQL Server, DB2, and front-end technologies such as Java Script, Servlets, HTML, CSS.
The position requires performing Full stack development ranging from native mobile, to web, to server-side engineering.
Upcoming work includes stabilizing the newly modernized system on GCP and building new microservices.
Requirements
Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
3 years of full stack software engineering experience in Mac OS and Windows OS.
3 years experience with web service development using SOAP or Restful service.
2 years experience in GCP Cloud Run or CaaS.
Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD), cloud native technology such as PCF, Angular, J2EE, Spring boot, JSF, Primefaces and Linux.
Proficiency in databases like SQL Server, DB2, and front-end technologies such as Java Script, Servlets, HTML, CSS
Willingness to learn new technologies/skillsets as and when required.
Good communication skills to interact with business customers.
Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with commitment to quality and project timelines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work individually and/or with a team.
