Works closely with Ford cross functional teams including Core Audio hardware and software team to leverage Audio and Audio systems component to vehicles applications developed in Ford Motor Company through all design phases (V-Phases), including component technical issue analysis, establishing resolution and closure.
Project engineer managing completely from the program start to launch of their audio-infotainment components ex., audio head unit, amplifier, speakers and associated brackets/attachments.
Project management of GPDS deliverables as outlined in Integrator/Program project timelines. Support Audio components and hardware elements that are independent of vehicle Market-of-Sale.
Develop realistic work plans / test plans, track delivery on open items, and apply program management principles to support vehicle programs in various milestones.
Develop and execute verification and validation plans.
Work closely with global team-based teams in support of milestone delivery.
Lead audio parts software/hardware changes and work closely with vehicle feature owners, attributes engineers.
Lead all related Concerns/Quality Improvement design actions.
Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional and regional support teams (e.g. Finance, Program Management, Launch Teams, Manufacturing, Fleet owners, supplier partners, etc.)
Manage Suppliers to establish plans for chip shortages, hardware, software and mechanical changes to their components.
Lead team of five the design actionable items (Team of 5) including suppliers.
Deliver Benchmarking and cost reduction target on audio and audio components.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, Automobile Engineering, or Any other discipline with relevant work experience.
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Infotainment audio product development skill set
Experience with quality problem solving engineering tools
Experienced in CAN log analysis using standard tools like, CAN analyzer, CANoe and scripting tools like CAPL is an advantage.
