Responsibilities
Lead overall design, validation, and launch of fuel delivery modules.
Monitor warranty trends for launched fuel delivery modules.
Develop and maintain core quality documents such as ESOW’s, Design Rules, SCCAF’s.
Be primary point of contact with FDM supplier, managing weekly open issues reviews.
Support issue resolution including data collection and analysis to support root cause confirmation and corrective actions
Develop DV & PV plans and manage validation testing to support engineering milestone signoffs
Communicate status and issues to broad audience including senior management and program teams
Support STA for APQP and Launch Readiness Reviews.
Support SREA review and approval process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
2 years of design and release experience.
1+ year of Fuel Systems and launch experience.

Proficiency in the usage of D&R tools such as WERS, Teamcenter, FEDE, Global 8D, DFMEA, DVP&R, PV, APQP Reviews, and AIMs.
Self-starter with excellent communication skills who can look ahead for the GPDS program deliverables, develop a workplan and drive the process both inside of Ford and with the supply base to meet the deliverables.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues using a data-driven approach.
Familiarity with fuel system components, materials, and their manufacturing processes is desired.
