About the role

  • Partner with cell engineers and vehicle performance teams to plan and execute battery-cell testing.
  • Enhance customers’ charging and driving experiences and advance safety.
  • Sharpen test precision and improve methodologies and measurement techniques for battery evaluation.
  • Increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and lower battery cost through code and automation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in an engineering field with a focus on battery technology or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Python or other programming languages. Experience with AI coding and AI agents.
  • Knowledge of standard electronics tools including DC meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with electrical systems (PCB's, resistors, voltage)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and a proactive mindset.
  • Passion for new technologies, AI, automation, and coding.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Even better, you may have...
  • Battery Management Systems experience.
  • Familiar with cell teardown, CT scan and other lithium-ion battery analysis methodologies and tools.
