About the role

  • Supplier Obsolescence Claims Analyst processing and verifying supplier obsolescence claims at Ford. Ensuring compliance and facilitating communication between Ford and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • The Supplier Obsolescence Claims analyst owns end‑to‑end processing of supplier obsolescence claims from submission through verification, stock audit, final liability alignment and settlement.
  • This role enforces, validates supplier data, leads physical/digital audits, negotiates recoveries and salvage, coordinates Purchase/Finance approvals, and ensures timely settlement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Ford and supplier communications during the claim lifecycle

Requirements

  • B.E, B.Tech or Equivallent Degree
  • 3 yrs + experience in any of the following: Supply Chain Management (Preferred), Supplier Readiness, Data Analysis, Pre-Production Management (PPM), Supplier Management, Capacity Planning or Purchasing in Manufacturing/Engineering industry.
  • Knowledge in CMMS (Mandatory), WERS, BOM, Data mart.
  • Handled suppliers as part of regular day to day activities
  • Good analytical skills on data crunching is a must.
  • Should have an overall knowledge on other cross functions teams (PVT, LVEA, Plant MP&L, STA, Quality & customs, network logistics, packaging, Trading companies, suppliers, Finance, etc)
  • Automotive product knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Automation skill sets like Power BI, VBA Script, Alteryx and Python
