Responsibilities
The Director, Branch Banking leads a geographic region of FNBO branches, driving sales growth, exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and talent development while managing risk and compliance.
This role requires a dynamic leader who spends approximately 60% of their time in branches, coaching teams, strengthening performance, and ensuring consistent delivery of FNBO's mission and values across all locations.
Reporting to the Vice President of Branch Banking, you'll balance the dual priorities of people leadership and business results—developing high-performing branch managers while fostering strong internal partnerships and community relationships that enhance FNBO's reputation and market presence.
Provide strategic direction and hands-on coaching to branch managers, fostering excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with branch managers to review goals, provide coaching, and remove barriers to success.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years branch management experience.
Proven track record of sales performance management.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management.
Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
Commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility.
