About the role
- Act as BA on insurance systems (quotation and issuance), gathering and documenting requirements, mapping processes, and ensuring solutions meet business rules. Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to translate complex rules into clear user stories and support testing and validation.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Analyst (BA) on insurance systems, focusing on quotation and policy issuance
- Elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements
- Map AS IS and TO BE processes, proposing improvements
- Serve as a bridge between business, technology and operations
- Translate complex rules into clear user stories for the development team
- Support testing, validation and user acceptance
- Ensure solutions adhere to business rules and process flows
- Maintain clear and constant communication with stakeholders and technical teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst (BA) in the insurance industry
- Practical experience with quotation and policy issuance processes
- Strong understanding of insurance business rules
- Ability to produce objective, clear and well-organized documentation
- Good communication with technical and business areas
- Preferred / Additional Qualifications
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience in integration or system modernization projects
