About the role
- Senior Subsea Precommissioning Engineer managing technical aspects of subsea projects. Writing specifications, ensuring technical follow-up, and participating in testing activities primarily in Africa.
Responsibilities
- Write or supervise the writing of technical specifications for precommissioning services and equipment manufacturing
- Interfacing with the Subcontract engineer in charge of writing and monitoring the contract with the precommissioning subcontractor
- Analyzing the technical offers and select the subcontractors
- Ensuring the technical follow-up of the precommissioning subcontract
- Managing internal interfaces with other disciplines (flexible and rigid design, structure ...)
- Managing a team of precommissioning engineers if applicable
- Participating in interface meetings with clients and other contractors of the project
- Providing and/or validating testing procedures
- Participating in testing activities on site (onshore or offshore, mainly in West or East Africa)
Requirements
- Graduated with an Engineering degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in subsea precommissioning
- Participation in offshore missions on installation vessels and/or FPSO/platforms
- Recognized for dynamism, team spirit and interpersonal skills
- Working in multicultural environments
- Fluent in English
- Mobile for on-site missions as requested by the project.
