About the role
- Staff Accountant handling accounts receivable and financial close processes in a performance marketing firm. Collaborating with teams to improve financial reporting efficiency and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Assists with customer invoicing process
- Prepares monthly general ledger & Intercompany journal entries
- Regularly maintains detailed and supported reconciliations of all assigned balance sheet accounts
- Assist with collection efforts
- Investigate & reconcile client accounts as needed
- Develops and maintains customer relationships as part of accounts receivable team
- Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors, as required
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
- Relevant experience with the financial close process
- Proficient in Excel
- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the company
- Experience with NetSuite or Oracle, a plus
