About the role
- Regional Purchasing Manager leading procurement strategies and supplier negotiations for FläktGroup in Germany. Managing teams in Wurzen and Czech Republic with a focus on cost savings and market analysis.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for independently managing procurement for designated commodity groups.
- Develop and implement regional procurement strategies in coordination with global partners.
- Responsible for indirect procurement, supplier management, and negotiations.
- Manage contract administration, price implementation, and escalation issues.
- Ensure procurement KPIs are met.
- Lead the purchasing teams at the Wurzen site and in the Czech Republic.
- Act as the interface between plant management, Purchasing, and Global Commodity Management.
- Conduct market analyses and identify potential cost savings.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in strategic procurement, ideally within a matrix organization.
- Strong team orientation and leadership experience (team size 5–10 people).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven working style.
- High decisiveness and agility in dynamic environments.
- Strong financial mindset and experience with cost and performance targets.
- International experience and intercultural competence.
- Solid market and supplier knowledge at the local level.
- Resilience and ability to respond quickly in challenging situations.
- Excellent knowledge of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent spoken and written German and English.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
