About the role

• Regional Purchasing Manager leading procurement strategies and supplier negotiations for FläktGroup in Germany. Managing teams in Wurzen and Czech Republic with a focus on cost savings and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for independently managing procurement for designated commodity groups.
• Develop and implement regional procurement strategies in coordination with global partners.
• Responsible for indirect procurement, supplier management, and negotiations.
• Manage contract administration, price implementation, and escalation issues.
• Ensure procurement KPIs are met.
• Lead the purchasing teams at the Wurzen site and in the Czech Republic.
• Act as the interface between plant management, Purchasing, and Global Commodity Management.
• Conduct market analyses and identify potential cost savings.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in strategic procurement, ideally within a matrix organization.
• Strong team orientation and leadership experience (team size 5–10 people).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven working style.
• High decisiveness and agility in dynamic environments.
• Strong financial mindset and experience with cost and performance targets.
• International experience and intercultural competence.
• Solid market and supplier knowledge at the local level.
• Resilience and ability to respond quickly in challenging situations.
• Excellent knowledge of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent spoken and written German and English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
