About the role
- Regional Purchasing Manager responsible for developing procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships in a dynamic environment for FläktGroup Germany. Ensuring purchasing metrics and leading procurement teams.
Responsibilities
- Your focus is on independently managing procurement for specific commodity groups.
- Develop and implement regional procurement strategies in coordination with global partners
- Responsible for indirect procurement, supplier management, and negotiations
- Manage contract administration, price implementation, and escalation issues
- Ensure procurement KPIs are met
- Lead procurement teams at the Wurzen and Czech sites
- Serve as the interface between plant management, Purchasing, and Global Commodity Management
- Conduct market analyses and identify cost-saving potentials
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years' experience in strategic procurement, preferably within a matrix organization
- Strong team orientation and leadership experience (team size 5–10 people)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Structured, detail-oriented, and results-focused working style
- High decisiveness and agility in dynamic environments
- Strong financial mindset and experience with cost and performance targets
- International experience and intercultural competence
- Solid market and supplier knowledge at the local level
- Resilience and the ability to respond quickly in challenging situations
- Excellent command of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
