About the role

  • Engineering Manager, Director responsible for leading development and QA engineering practices across agile teams at Fitch Group. Delivering high-quality automation solutions within a cutting-edge technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own Development and QA engineering practices for more than one agile squad.
  • Automate testing scenarios of every single story played during the sprint and mentor other junior engineers to achieve development and test automation using agentic AI methodologies.
  • Contribute to and develop sophisticated automation frameworks that are efficient, flexible, and reusable with innovative AI-driven approaches.
  • Integrate code and test case execution and reporting within the CI/CD pipeline to align with the DevOps strategy, criteria, requirements, and user stories.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and users to build and refine test strategies for your team as well as to ensure integrity of dependent systems.
  • Implement BDD practices and frameworks to enhance test automation and acceptance criteria using cutting-edge AI techniques.
  • Work in the SDET capacity to automate early and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of LLMs, and experience with at least one of the mainstream coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, claude code and Amazon Q.
  • Proficient with Python and Java programming languages.
  • React.js experience will be an added advantage.
  • 10+ years of experience with development, automation testing, hands on experience with Playwright/Python and Selenium/Java with a passion for agentic AI solutions.
  • 6+ years integrating automated testing with DevOps tools (Github actions/Bamboo).
  • 4+ years of API testing with RestAssured and OpenAPI related toolsets, and a mindset of leveraging AI assistance to move quickly.
  • Hands-on building reusable test components to validate AI-generated outputs against business logic, factual accuracy, and explainability standards is a plus.
  • Experience in leveraging code assistants (Agentic AI Plugins) to accelerate test case creation, code suggestions and documentation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proficient in performance testing tools (JMeter, K6, Neoload, LoadRunner).
  • Skilled in writing SQL/NoSQL queries for data verification.
  • Solid understanding of BDD concepts, acceptance criteria and testing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver high quality results in a complex environment by driving initiatives forward.
