About the role
- Network Administrator maintaining and supporting Group network infrastructure at First Citizens Bank. Overseeing communications, standards, and user documentation for information systems.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and extending specialist technical and application knowledge of communications, concepts, architectures, standards and protocols for inter-connection and inter-working of systems over Local and Wide Area Networks
- Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the Group's growing network infrastructure
- Performs capacity management, patch management, and systems backup
- Administers operating systems and technical guidelines for corporate branch office openings
- Develops end user documentation and troubleshooting procedures for technical support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems field relating to Networking and/or Electrical Engineering
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Certified CISCO Network Associate (CCNA)
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in ICT, specifically in Voice and Data Communications, VoIP systems, and Routers, preferably CISCO
- In-depth knowledge of Firewall Systems (Checkpoint and Cisco FWSM), Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, security protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server
