About the role

  • Lead Network Engineer managing secure network operations supporting U.S. Government customers. Configuring Cisco ISE, routers, and troubleshooting complex networking issues in classified environments.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to protect data and control access to classified networks
  • Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Diagnose and resolve Layer 2/Layer 3, VPN, and VMware network issues
  • Coordinate on-site and remotely with users to configure equipment and troubleshoot connectivity
  • Recommend performance and security enhancements that improve reliability and reduce costs
  • Interface with senior management and vendor technical teams on network solutions
  • Work independently or lead small technical efforts with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship (required)
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree (or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • 8–10 years of professional networking experience
  • Expertise in Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting, routing/switching, and firewall administration
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols and network design principles
  • Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly preferred
