About the role
- Field technician role focusing on installation and maintenance of utility meters for a growing company in Germany. Enjoy autonomy and flexible working with a supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Installation, replacement and meter reading of heat meters, hot and cold water meters, and heat cost allocators
- Installation, replacement and maintenance of smoke detectors throughout Germany (by arrangement) — you will conveniently start your route from home in a company vehicle
- Lockable storage at home is an advantage but not required
- Configuration of wireless-enabled properties using the designated IT equipment
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally as a plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning (HVAC) (m/f/d)
- Some practical experience in the billing and metering services sector is an advantage but not a requirement — career starters are welcome
- Manual skills and technical understanding
- Business-fluent German, both written and spoken
- Strong service and customer orientation, and a structured, independent working style
- Organizational skills, reliability and commitment
