About the role

Responsibilities
- Database logic: Design and maintain our "One Big Table" architecture in Google BigQuery.
- AI-native workflow: You treat LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini) as your junior developer.
- BigQuery optimization: Responsible for query performance and cost control.
- BI & dashboarding: Full ownership of our dashboards in Looker Studio.
- Data quality & debugging: Ensure data quality across our denormalized data models.

Requirements
- SQL skills: You have solid SQL knowledge and ideally experience with Google BigQuery.
- BigQuery expertise: Experience with BigQuery-specific features (partitioning, scheduled queries) and cost optimization is highly desirable.
- BI experience: Proven experience building and maintaining BI dashboards (Looker Studio is a strong plus).
- Data modeling expertise: Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and query cost optimization.
- Technical mindset: You are a true "Citizen Data Analyst." You use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Julius.ai to work up to 10x faster than a traditional developer.
- Analytical strength: You can understand complex business questions and translate them into technical requirements and data logic.
- Languages: Fluent in German or English.
