About the role

  • Product Manager responsible for the lifecycle management of automotive parts at Alliance Automotive Group. Engaging with suppliers and internal teams to ensure effective product management in the aftermarket sector.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complete product range lifecycle from New to Range through to end of life removal
  • Maintaining the live product file on ERP systems
  • Product cataloguing (Make model index) via aftermarket solutions and supporting the wider cataloguing business function
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate new product launches
  • Carry out Supplier benchmark analysis including pricing and cross referencing.
  • Working in conjunction with the supplier and internal Technical teams to produce and manage product factsheets, technical data and product notes
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to promote internal and external brand awareness
  • Handling basic technical queries

Requirements

  • Strong level of computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience of working within the Automotive Aftermarket
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Team Player.
  • High level of both written and verbal communication.
  • Technical knowledge of vehicle components.
  • Experience working within the Commercial Vehicle sector would be advantageous but not essential
