About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL or similar)
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet , or similar tools
- Work with containers and orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability stacks and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimise deployments and runtimes
- Participate in agile ceremonies, task estimation, and daily stand-ups
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related
- 5+ years in Linux Administration / DevOps / Site Reliability / Cloud Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking, and security best practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP , or private cloud
- Scripting expertise: Bash, Python , or similar
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Docker , writing Dockerfiles, and containerisation best practices
- Practical experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
- Strong version control skills (Git, Git workflows)
