Responsibilities

  • The Support Operations Software Engineer at Fidelity Labs is a pivotal role for the continued success and growth of the Fidelity Private Shares.
  • Be hands-on in the support, delivery, and success of the Fidelity Private Shares platform.
  • Work closely with technical leads, product, and customer success teams to support our customers and inform the product.
  • Research and develop new growth opportunities to expand on the strengths of the core technology.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting web applications in production with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Java)
  • Understanding and experience working with source code management, testing, and CI/CD processes and tools such as Github and Jenkins
  • A customer-first mentality; a passion for engineering excellence; a desire to empower and collaborate with your teammates; a willingness to learn; and adaptability to new and changing requirements
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions
  • A sense of ownership utilizing automation and tests to make sure code is robust as possible
  • Ability and desire to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns.
