About the role

• Backend Developer working with a major investment bank in Latin America. Responsibilities include software development, ensuring high performance and availability of applications.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, develop and fix issues in applications;
• Promote automation and optimization of processes and analyses;
• Maintain close collaboration with business areas and other IT teams within the BTG Pactual Group;
• Ensure high availability of platforms by creating and evolving deployment processes (blue/green and canary deployments);
• Develop software following agile methodologies and applying object-oriented best practices and clean code.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with .NET (C#)
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Design patterns
• Experience with unit testing (TDD)
• Knowledge of Git
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum)
