About the role
- Technology Supplier Manager managing relationships with key technology suppliers. Ensuring performance and innovation while mitigating risks in the Digital, Technology, & Innovation division.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key IT suppliers to support FCA’s growth with opportunities to contribute to service improvements and key decision-making
- Drive innovation and value add from the supplier
- Provide strategic supplier management including governance, risk and issue management, financial tracking and coaching to the team
- Lead complex supplier engagements, acting as a key escalation point while implementing robust management processes to drive efficiency, reduce risk, foster innovation, and enhance supplier resilience
- Support Procurement in contract negotiations, renewals and change management, advising senior management on supplier strategy, planning and risk exposure
- Monitor service levels and performance, resolve disputes and cultivate collaborative relationships to ensure value for money and maintain the FCA’s position as a customer of choice
- Gain hands-on experience in the evolving AI landscape while working with senior stakeholders and Tier 1 tech suppliers
- Lead or support supplier-led initiatives and share best practices across teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Supplier Relationship Management in highly regulated industries
- Experience leading and managing Technology suppliers, focusing on performance, governance and strategic engagement
- Experience managing outsourced contracts and managing a complex contractual model
- Experience steering teams to deliver supplier management services, including mediation, dispute resolution, contract development and administration
- Experience working in large, standards-based corporate environments with tight deadlines and familiarity with RACI-type deliverables frameworks
