About the role

  • Product Management Analyst leveraging quantitative analysis to drive product insights and strategies at Farmers. Collaborating across teams to enhance product performance and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors product performance using quantitative analysis while providing actionable insights and enhancements to products and strategies.
  • Utilize fundamental and quantitative analysis across numerous personal lines products.
  • Communicate and present key metrics and recommended product strategies to leadership.
  • Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by leader.
  • Develops long and short-term plans for their assigned product or strategy.
  • Assist in the development of pricing and contract changes for product.
  • Manages the analysis and research performed in the development of new products.
  • Stays abreast of industry developments.
  • Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematical or statistical field preferred
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Four years experience in similar role or one year in Senior Product Analyst role
  • PC Skills, including Excel, PowerBI, Power Point, Access, SAS, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including ability to make effective presentations
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn advanced insurance pricing concepts and insurance terms and structure
  • Ability to manage workflows and set appropriate goals and milestones.
