About the role

  • Supports life insurance sales by analyzing agency activity and providing data insights to enhance outcomes. Acts as a contact point for district managers and agency staff to promote value propositions.

Responsibilities

  • Supports life insurance sales by analyzing agency activity and premium under management within assigned agencies to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Generates data insights and shares findings with management and agency stakeholders to support optimization of life insurance sales outcomes.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of life insurance products, marketing campaigns and services to assist agencies in understanding and explaining various coverage options, answering customer questions, and providing appropriate life insurance solutions.
  • Acts as a contact for district managers, agents and agency staff on routine matters related to life insurance sales.
  • Coordinates with internal teams as needed including underwriting, service operations, and product to address agency needs and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintains agency relationships using basic consultative skills to educate on products, services, marketing campaigns and technology.
  • Provides training to agents (0-3 years) and agency staff to enhance their understanding of life insurance offerings, improve customer interactions, and support sales growth.
  • Supports agencies through virtual or in-person visits, check-ins, and meetings.
  • Promotes company value proposition in all interactions to support sales outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate records of agency performance, sales activities, interactions, and competitor data in CRM and other systems.
  • Prepares reports, monitors progress, and ensures up-to-date information is available for use by life insurance sales and analytics teams.
  • Assists with onboarding and mentoring new team members by sharing knowledge, providing training on tools and processes, and supporting professional development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid life insurance license required
  • Minimum three years of experience required in sales, account management, or agency operations preferably within the insurance industry
  • Other preferred designations include Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or FINRA 6,63 licenses.
