Responsibilities
Formulates, develops, and coordinates safety and loss control functions onsite
Monitors compliance with government regulatory agencies such as OSHA, MSHA, DNR
Collaborates with Safety Department to improve safety and health onsite
Interfaces with customers and contractors for best safety practices
Actively participates in daily Operational Risk Management meetings
Completes jobsite safety audits and identifies unsafe conditions
Provides support to on-site personnel and assists in task safety analysis
Trains employees in Company general safety practices
Conducts accident investigations and recommends corrective actions
Provides guidance to field employees and management on health & safety matters
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Construction
3 to 5 years of Safety experience or 5 years of experience in the electrical trade
Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
Thorough knowledge of federal safety regulations
Ability to operate various types of construction equipment
Ability to work a flexible schedule
