About the role
- Technical Product Designer focused on creating documentation and technical solutions for fire protection systems. Collaborating with project leads and supporting engineering teams with CAD expertise.
Responsibilities
- You have excellent spatial visualization skills and experience working with 2D and 3D CAD systems.
- Your responsibilities focus on the timely completion of customer-specific documentation and on handling custom technical solutions.
- You produce custom system drawings and piping diagrams, including the associated bills of materials.
- With your expertise you support the engineering department in a collaborative manner.
- You provide project managers with the necessary drafting support.
- As a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d) you contribute significantly to our customers' safety — our preventive fire protection systems help prevent personal injury and property damage.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or further education as a Technical Product Designer, Technical Draftsperson/Drafter, or a comparable qualification.
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D and Inventor.
- Strong technical understanding.
- Ideally, experience in piping design, hydraulic calculations and water-based fire suppression systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Team player with a structured, independent way of working.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
