About the role
- IT Security Administrator developing IT-Security-Lösungen like Firewall and Vulnerability Management for non-profit organization. Supporting security governance and collaborating with external partners to improve services and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operation and development of IT security solutions (firewall, IDS, EDR, vulnerability management, SIEM, WAF, anomaly detection)
- Evaluation of new technologies and components in the network and security domain
- Support of the Information Security Officer on security-related matters
- Design, execution, coordination and implementation of IT security projects
- Implementation of continuous improvement measures for supported services
- Enforcement of IT governance and IT security requirements
- Management of various security zones and security devices (DMZ, 2FA, certificates)
- Planning and segmentation of complex data systems and networks
- Handling and analysis of security-related incidents
- Documentation of security processes
- Providing 2nd-level support for individual systems and cross-system components
Requirements
- Successfully completed IT vocational training, a degree in IT or an equivalent qualification with a focus on IT security
- Relevant experience in administering firewall systems and network technology
- Several years of professional experience in IT security
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Linux environments
- Independent working style and willingness to work in a team
- Experience conducting and supporting audits (e.g., ISO 27001, DORA)
- Experience creating and maintaining IT security documentation
- Experience implementing IT governance and compliance requirements
- Experience or interest in operating and administering cloud infrastructures
