About the role

• Lead architecture and implementation of Dynamics 365 / Power Platform solutions. Oversee integrations, ALM, security, CI/CD, and mentor delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect CRM/Power Platform solutions to meet business requirements while adhering to Government of Canada (GoC) standards.
• Design and oversee integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems (Azure services, M365, SSC-managed infrastructure, third-party APIs).
• Define and implement environment strategies, including ALM, governance frameworks, security/authentication, and monitoring.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Power Platform CLI.
• Lead technical workshops and provide mentorship to developers and business analysts.
• Develop technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment playbooks, and governance models.
• Conduct performance and scalability reviews and provide tuning recommendations.
• Support data migration activities, including strategy and execution oversight.
• Provide knowledge transfer to NRC staff through training, presentations, and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience.
• At least 5 years as a Technical Architect on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online / Power Platform projects.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing solutions that include Power Pages with client branding (WET / Canada.ca theme).
• Multi-environment application lifecycle management (ALM) strategies.
• Integration of Dynamics 365 with five (5) or more enterprise systems, APIs, or Microsoft cloud services (Azure, M365, SSC-managed services).
• Authentication and security model design in a federal or highly regulated environment.
• Data migration experience using tools such as KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM delivery teams with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, release pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Previous hands-on experience architecting or delivering at least one client Power Platform / Dynamics 365 solution is required.
• Certifications (must hold at least one of the following): Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert; Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate; Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
