About the role
- Senior Cybersecurity Advisor providing support to threat and vulnerability analysts at Exposant 3 in a hybrid work model. Collaborating on incident responses and vulnerability management in a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to threat and vulnerability management analysts
- Evolve the Cyber Defence Operations Center roadmap toward an offensive Security Operations Center (offensive SOC)
- Analyze any event of interest to determine whether it constitutes a security incident
- Participate in incident response at the request of the COMSI
- Participate in the full vulnerability management lifecycle
- Analyze security advisories and determine their severity levels
- Participate in digital forensic analyses
- Assist the COMSI with reporting and accountability activities
- Support project-related efforts
- Contribute to the design and development of cyber exercises
- Produce executive presentations and security metrics
Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology, specifically in information security
- At least 200 person-days as an intrusion detection specialist within the last five (5) years
- At least 200 person-days as a vulnerability management specialist within the last (5) years
- At least 100 person-days in IT security within a Microsoft Windows server environment
- At least one (1) engagement in IT security within a Linux server environment in the last five (5) years
- Use of at least one (1) security tool in the last five (5) years
- Performed proactive cyber threat research in the last five (5) years
- Use of a security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platform in the last five (5) years
