Responsibilities
Own electronic subsystem design and contribute to overall system architecture and technical decision-making
Develop electronic architectures, specifications, and component selection strategies
Produce schematic designs and PCB layouts, working closely with mechatronics engineers
Generate 2D/3D documentation and ensure correct form, fit, and function using analytical and simulation tools
Apply modern design and drawing standards, including manufacturability considerations
Define and execute validation tests for subsystem maturation, including general electronics and electrical troubleshooting
Produce comprehensive design documentation aligned with company guidelines and quality standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure coherent system-level integration
Requirements
Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
A lower qualification would be acceptable should the candidate be able to demonstrate significant demonstrable experience in lieu
Strong electronic design skills, including schematic capture and PCB layout
Proficiency with ECAD tools and understanding of ECAD/MCAD integration workflows
Solid knowledge of electronic component integration and subsystem architecture
Ability to create and interpret 2D/3D design documentation
Defining and performing validation and troubleshooting activities
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and drive a project from concept through validation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible R&D environment
