About the role

Project Manager with finance background leading greenfield retail bank setup at Expleo. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for go-live.

Responsibilities

Project Manage the delivery of a greenfield retail bank setup programme, with responsibility for establishing robust financial operations.
Ensure full finance operational readiness for new entity go-live, including: Accounts receivable and payable, Financial controlling and accounting, Treasury, tax, VAT, and financial modelling.
Build and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
Identify, manage, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Work closely with existing finance teams, extending and enabling their capabilities to support the new retail bank entity, ensuring appropriate processes, controls, and reporting are in place.
Collaborate with third-party suppliers to agree financial processes, requirements, and data transfer arrangements.
Provide strong stakeholder management, guiding finance and business colleagues through organisational and process change.

Strong understanding of the finance operating model within a large corporate
Excellent client-facing skills
Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies
Experience of working as part of a team in large deployments
People management skills – the ability to lead and focus teams in complex projects
Desire to continue to build domain knowledge– process, tools, applications, platforms
Microsoft Project Experience
Experience of leading large scale financial change projects
Experience leading Waterfall projects
Experience within the automotive industry is desirable but not essential
Experience of setting up a retail bank is desirable but not essential
