About the role
- Project Manager with finance background leading greenfield retail bank setup at Expleo. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for go-live.
Responsibilities
- Project Manage the delivery of a greenfield retail bank setup programme, with responsibility for establishing robust financial operations.
- Ensure full finance operational readiness for new entity go-live, including: Accounts receivable and payable, Financial controlling and accounting, Treasury, tax, VAT, and financial modelling.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Work closely with existing finance teams, extending and enabling their capabilities to support the new retail bank entity, ensuring appropriate processes, controls, and reporting are in place.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers to agree financial processes, requirements, and data transfer arrangements.
- Provide strong stakeholder management, guiding finance and business colleagues through organisational and process change.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the finance operating model within a large corporate
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies
- Experience of working as part of a team in large deployments
- People management skills – the ability to lead and focus teams in complex projects
- Desire to continue to build domain knowledge– process, tools, applications, platforms
- Microsoft Project Experience
- Experience of leading large scale financial change projects
- Experience leading Waterfall projects
- Experience within the automotive industry is desirable but not essential
- Experience of setting up a retail bank is desirable but not essential
