About the role

Responsibilities
- Review current whole platform maintenance solutions.
- Analyse availability and failure data to define root cause.
- Conduct in depth RCM studies on all systems.
- Work closely with platform staff and SMEs.
- Ensure compliance with MOD and naval standards throughout the change process.
Requirements
- Qualified Marine Engineer
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture
- Additional naval or defence-related qualifications are advantageous
- Knowledge of Sub-surface Platforms
- Significant experience in defence naval operations and marine engineering
- Deep understanding of RCM and FMECA
- Understanding of Marine Maintenance Software
- Strong coordination and administrative skills with excellent communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage complex operational activities under pressure
- Strong understanding of ship systems and equipment
- Strong understanding of MOD and Naval Standards
- British nationality or citizenship (due to security clearance requirements)
