About the role

  • V&V Engineer defining verification and validation strategies, ensuring project compliance and safety in engineering domains. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and meeting complex regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan.
  • Act proactively for its implementation.
  • Define verification methodology for selected deliverables, when requested from V&V strategy.
  • Define test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities.
  • Liaise with PrCOM for exported tests.
  • Perform and report on allocated verification, integration and test activities.
  • When Safety is involved, share and justify the results with Safety Assurance Manager.
  • Interface with experts in other department to align on selected V&V activity methodology.
  • Represent the company in front of customers or partners.
  • Specify, procure, develop, setup and configure assets such as testbenches and instrumentation.
  • Provide data to maintain applicable KPIs.
  • Provide valuable feedback for REX sessions and continuous improvement.
  • Manage configuration and change management cycle related with V&V activities (simulation configuration, anomaly tracking, etc.).

Requirements

  • Engineering and system background.
  • At least 5 years in relevant positions (systems / sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development) in a highly complex and normative environment (railway signaling, aerospace, defense, nuclear) would be a major asset.
  • Design and data preparation processes understanding.
  • Understanding and experience in Software coding.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of local language is an asset).
