Engineer - Methods developing manufacturing plans and tooling requirements for aerospace projects. Collaborating with production teams in a dynamic environment located in Montreal, QC.
Responsibilities
Develop the manufacturing plan and tooling requirements
Estimate assembly cycle times, production hours, and part quantities
Conduct feasibility studies related to manufacturing automation
Define assembly breakdowns and part separation
Perform design reviews and deliver technical presentations
Be responsible for planning, sequencing, and maintaining methods work instructions
Provide technical support to production and act as a technical interface between teams
Investigate, analyze, and recommend corrective actions
Perform detailed analyses and provide information necessary to submit engineering change requests
Incorporate engineering dispositions into rework instructions
Requirements
Strong ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings and 3D models
Excellent knowledge of Bombardier aerospace tools and standards
Knowledge of MRB (Material Review Board) processes in aerospace is an asset
Excellent understanding of aircraft structural and systems installation technical requirements
In-depth understanding of aircraft systems, installation sequencing, and functional test procedure requirements
Excellent knowledge of aerospace materials and hardware
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive mindset and positive attitude
Valid work authorization to work in Canada is required
