Join EXP's environmental and geotechnical team in Laval or Montreal. Work on various projects for public and private clients in the metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
Carry out environmental site assessments or environmental characterizations (Phase I, II & III)
You will be partially assigned to municipal projects
Manage monitoring mandates during environmental remediation works
Conduct environmental monitoring
Prepare technical documentation and various reports
Participate in preparing service proposals
Prepare work programs
Contribute to the preparation of environmental technical plans and specifications
Plan and coordinate the implementation and execution of on-site works
Provide technical support to other team professionals and environmental technicians
Any other duties related to the position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in geology, civil engineering, geological engineering, or other equivalent qualification
Member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) or the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Membership in AQVE (an asset)
Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience
Knowledge of environmental regulations and practice standards (notably the RPRT, RVMR and the Intervention Guide) of the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques
Willingness to perform fieldwork as required
Versatile and willing to work on a variety of project types
Possession of the Construction Site Health and Safety card (ASP)
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
