- Develop and enhance Expana’s data platform and self‑service capabilities.
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines, including automated ingestion and web scraping.
- Optimise cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and ensure platform stability.
- Create automation that streamlines workflows and reduces manual effort.
- Embed strong security and compliance practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analytics engineers, and analysts to deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong programming skills, ideally in Python.
- Familiarity with modern data engineering tools and CI/CD workflows.
- A structured, reliable approach to testing, automation, and system design.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and a drive to improve systems and processes.
- Bonus: Experience with web scraping and automated data ingestion.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience delivering data engineering projects end‑to‑end.
