- Senior Azure DevOps Engineer focusing on CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Leading automation initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for diverse applications (microservices, web, and APIs).
- Lead automation initiatives to streamline build, release, and deployment processes across development and production environments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high-quality, automated, and secure delivery.
- Integrate code quality, testing, and security tools (SonarQube, OWASP, etc.) into CI/CD workflows.
- Manage and monitor Azure services such as App Service, AKS, ACR, Key Vault, and Azure Functions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex build and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years in Azure DevOps ecosystem.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation, release orchestration, and environment automation using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines).
- Strong experience with source control (Git/GitHub/Azure Repos) and branching strategies.
- Proven experience with IaC tools – Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for containerized deployments.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity management, and security (Key Vault, Managed Identities, RBAC).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, artifact management, and continuous monitoring.
- Experience with blue-green, canary, or multi-stage deployment strategies.
