Responsibilities
Actively prospect to develop a portfolio of small, owner-managed businesses and retail business assets for sale, leveraging existing partnerships
Build and maintain trusting relationships with business owners and company leaders
Participate in the valuation and appraisal of business assets and companies (analysis of operations and growth potential)
Identify potential buyers, qualify them, and arrange introductions
Contribute to building a pipeline of prospective buyers
Conduct site visits and support parties during negotiations
Manage files through to signature and completion (preliminary sales agreements and final deed of sale)
Provide end-to-end client support throughout the process
Maintain active market monitoring
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, negotiation, or transactions (including business asset and commercial property transactions)
Strong preference for fieldwork and proactive prospecting
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
Good understanding of the corporate/B2B environment
An affinity for new technologies and curiosity about emerging digital trends
Autonomous, tenacious, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
