About the role

  • Auditor in IT securing technology for financial information at Exco. Evaluating information system reliability through technical audits of controls and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Audit department, you will serve as an IT Auditor supporting the statutory auditors.
  • Your mission is to secure the technological environment that produces financial information.
  • Assess the reliability of information systems (IS) through analysis of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), and large-scale accounting data analytics.
  • ITGC audits: evaluate logical security (access), change management, IT operations, and physical security of infrastructure.
  • Application Controls audits: verify the integrity of interfaces, automated calculation controls, system-generated reports, and the configuration of business rules in ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.).
  • Data extraction and reprocessing: extract complex datasets directly from financial databases.
  • Build dashboards to present audit findings to clients in a visual and interactive way.
  • Map financial data flows, analyze risks, and identify key controls.
  • Identify risks of data integrity loss between business applications and accounting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Bac +5) from a business school, engineering school or a specialized Master's (Information Systems, Audit, or Management Control).
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role in an audit firm or IT internal control.
  • ERP proficiency: in-depth knowledge of at least one major ERP (SAP is a plus).
  • Data analysis: strong SQL skills and experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or ACL/IDEA.
  • Programming and AI: basic knowledge of Python or VBA is an asset for automating tests.
  • Good financial knowledge: understanding of accounting cycles (Sales, Purchases, Inventory, Payroll).
  • Familiarity with internal control and IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and security standards (ISO 27001).
  • Certifications: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or a Data Science certification is a strong advantage.
  • Recognized for analytical thinking, the ability to turn raw data into business insights, pedagogical skills, rigor, and adherence to audit standards.
