Responsibilities
You are the primary on-site contact for production on development-related issues for the interior
You are responsible for investigating causes and proposing countermeasures together with the specialist departments
You propose solutions and actions, coordinate them with the responsible parties, and prepare decision documents
You independently implement design changes and measures related to quality issues, production-flow improvements, and improvement suggestions for the Mannheim site
You communicate across locations with the series team in Turkey and act as an interface
You maintain direct contact with the series control center
You participate in shopfloor activities across various areas such as Production, Logistics, SCM, Purchasing and QA, coordinate issues and report back
Requirements
Completed degree in engineering, e.g., Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Several years of professional experience in design and development, ideally with experience in production, work planning and supplier management
Familiarity with relevant production processes and organizational workflows
Very good skills with Siemens NX, SAP and Microsoft Office applications
Very good German and English language skills; knowledge of Turkish is an advantage
