About the role
- SAP Application Manager ensuring system and application support within the evm Group, aiding in IT projects and operational coordination.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system and application support for SAP S/4HANA (ERP and HCM) as well as various ancillary IT systems
- Coordinate ongoing operations including patch management, license measurement and runtime optimization
- Responsible for analyzing, documenting and aligning requirements from the business units
- Advise business units on IT-specific topics and processes
- Plan and manage IT projects including coordination of service providers and project workshops
- Monitor operational activities, manage tickets and oversee service providers based on KPIs in accordance with ITIL standards
Requirements
- Completed university degree (including universities of applied sciences) in a relevant field or completed vocational training with appropriate additional qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in system and application support as well as IT operations
- Solid knowledge of commercial business processes and experience advising business units
- Experience in project management and in managing external service providers
- Strong skills in analyzing, designing and implementing new IT requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, strong customer-service orientation and good command of English
- High level of abstract thinking and logical-analytical reasoning
