About the role
- Engineer overseeing quality assurance processes for Transmission and Distribution capital projects. Engaging with stakeholders to evaluate and manage project life-cycle improvements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating capital projects to specific Transmission and Distribution needs.
- Performing QA/QC processes across the Eversource electric transmission and distribution companies.
- Reviewing scopes of capital projects, interfacing with engineering, operations, major projects, and other key stakeholders to support capital initiatives.
- Managing overall quality assurance processes throughout the project life-cycle.
- Supporting competency development in emerging transmission competitive environment as it relates to project solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 3+ years related experience is required.
- Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred.
- Ability to independently develop, present and execute new projects through collaborations with other departments.
- Familiarity with power related software is preferred.
