Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable process; this includes processing invoices, contract management, and administering our Corporate Credit Card Program & Travel & Expense Program
Maintain our customer billing platform, Stripe, as a system of record
Follow up on outstanding accounts and review customer disputes in a timely and professional manner to resolve billing issues
Perform month-end closing and financial reporting activities including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing accounting entries and account reconciliations for EvenUp Inc. and its subsidiaries
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial statements aligning with GAAP
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Support the annual financial audit processes and assist with tax filings including applicable state and local tax obligations
Build and maintain best-in-class processes; help streamline accounting processes via automation and standardization to improve effectiveness of processes and internal controls
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA highly preferred
3-5+ years of professional work experience
Experience at a Big 4 firm a plus, but not a requirement
Highly proficient in Google Sheets/Excel
Experience with ERP systems and accounts payable/receivable automation tools (NetSuite, Ramp, Stripe)
