About the role
- Bilanzbuchhalter ensuring compliance and quality standards in finance for ETL Business Services. Responsible for internal accounting and compliance processes across locations in Germany and Bulgaria.
Responsibilities
- Ensure and further develop quality standards in service delivery for Germany and Bulgaria (financial accounting)
- Implement and coordinate the internal control system (ICS) for financial accounting and payroll
- Provide training and support in creating training materials as well as on technical and procedural questions
- Manage data protection, compliance and professional legal matters
- Take responsibility for internal accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements
Requirements
- Ideally a career background as an accountant, Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant) or tax clerk with experience in quality and process management
- Solid knowledge of accounting (DATEV), annual financial statements and tax law
- Strong affinity for standardization, digital processes and automation to increase efficiency in the finance function
- Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence
- Practical, solution-oriented work style with a focus on optimization and flexibility for strategic and operational tasks
