Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
Act as Networks Engineering Civil & Environmenrals lead on assigned projects
Oversee the full design, review, and delivery of medium- to large-scale works
Support statutory compliance by acting as PSDP shadow
Ensure all design activities align with legal obligations and project safety requirements
Deliver and oversee civil and structural engineering design
Provide expert technical guidance from concept to detailed design
Manage civil works contracts and coordinate contractors and sub-consultants
Proactively identify and mitigate design, construction, and constructability risks
Support professional and technical development through mentoring, tutoring, and knowledge-sharing
Requirements
A recognizable Level 8 degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years relevant consultancy experience
Familiarity with applicable Codes and Standards and industry current best practice
Experience with computer analysis and design packages
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Experience with working in multi-disciplinary teams delivering medium to large scale projects
Experience in the use of Eurocodes
Full driving licence and access to a car
A recognizable Level 9 degree in Civil and Structural Engineering (desirable)
Chartered status of a recognised Professional Institution (desirable)
