Responsibilities
- Lead all permitting efforts for vegetation management, including preparing and performing QA/QC on encroachment permit packages
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to resolve constraints and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality for complex environmental projects, keeping everything on track and aligned with client goals
- Facilitate planning sessions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain documentation to meet municipal and environmental regulations
- Communicate data collection needs and seamlessly incorporate findings into project workflows
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and boost program efficiency, helping clients achieve annual performance targets
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and provide proactive updates throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, project management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in permitting, planning, or environmental project management
- At least 2 years managing vegetation management projects and multi-disciplinary initiatives
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving strategies in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet), GIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across disciplines
- Proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines
- Preferred PMP or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with vegetation management programs and regulatory frameworks
