About the role

  • Content & Video Editor responsible for producing engaging video formats for various platforms at Ergotopia. Collaborating with teams to create meaningful visual content that impacts the work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Content production: You produce audience-relevant video formats for our YouTube channel, social media, our app, ads and other channels — from the initial concept through to publication.
  • Camera operation: You are responsible for camera, lighting and audio on shoots and ensure professional production conditions and strong visuals with your setup.
  • Post-production: You handle the complete editing process including sound design, color grading, animations and voice-over, delivering high-performance video content with minimal revision cycles.
  • Performance & optimization: You create click-driving thumbnails, test visual variants in A/B tests and continuously optimize your content based on relevant KPIs.
  • Trend adaptation: You monitor relevant video trends (e.g., Shorts, TikTok, Reels), develop fresh ideas from them and translate them into creative formats that fit our brand and target audience.
  • Video projects: You collaborate closely with Brand, Design and other teams on large video projects and implement content around our products and brand both technically and creatively.

Requirements

  • You have completed formal training in film or media production, or alternatively hold a degree in media studies, film & television or a related field.
  • Alternatively, you can convince us with strong practical experience and your skills as a self-starter — even without a formal degree.
  • A personal interest in fitness and a health-conscious lifestyle is a strong plus.
  • You have solid professional experience in the production and post-production of video content — ideally in a marketing or agency environment.
  • You are proficient with common tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects and Audition and bring know-how in camera operation, lighting setup and audio.
  • You work purposefully, quickly and with a focus on quality, with a strong eye for storytelling, timing and visual impact.
  • You have a pronounced hands-on mentality, step in where needed, and bring a true can-do attitude.
  • You speak and write German at native level, have good English skills and hold a Class B driver’s license to be flexible for external shoots.

Benefits

  • A job with purpose: Your contribution to our vision of shaping the (work) world to be “happy, healthy & productive”.
  • Growth: The opportunity to take your career to the next level at one of Germany’s fastest-growing office furniture e‑commerce startups.
  • Impact: As the visual voice of the brand, you will shape Ergotopia’s external presence — your content makes a difference.
  • Personal development: A strong feedback culture and a monthly personal development budget of €50, including optional Bookbeat and Blinkist subscriptions to support your growth.
  • Appreciation: A team that truly acts like a team. Company events, after-work get-togethers and a department-level team event budget — fun guaranteed!
  • Wellbeing: Office equipped with ergonomic furniture, air conditioning, an office dog policy, and snacks & drinks.
  • Additional benefits: Edenred card with a tax-free €50 monthly allowance or the option for an EGYM Wellpass.
  • Discounts: Employee discount on our product range — also available for friends & family — plus exclusive discounts through a Corporate Benefits portal.
  • Flexibility: Flexible working hours, hybrid culture (office and home office), 30 days of vacation and a workation option to explore the world.
