- Maintains and updates mortgage files from the commitment approval stage to loan funding
- Reviews mortgage files and corresponds with mortgage brokers for outstanding documents
- Adjudicates documents according to FINTRAC and internal guidelines
- Mitigates fraud within the Single Family Residential Department
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree completed, preferably in a finance-related field
- 1–2 years’ mortgage experience in the alternative mortgage market
- Sound thinker with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to understand AML & ATF practices
- Strong and meticulous organizational skills
- Excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to make complex decisions under pressure
- Proven ability to thrive in a constantly changing, high-volume, high-intensity environment
